Kids Garland DIY, a little décor piece we are adding to Olivia’s room. We are putting the final touches in Olivia’s room today. Most walls in this space are white and the furniture carry clean lines all in white with golden details. So to spark some interest and fun, I am adding colorful elements here and there. Colorful books, wall decals, art prints, garlands and more.
Garlands are being used a lot lately as a decorative element in kids rooms. They can be a very charming and very inexpensive item for the room. Initially, I wanted to create a garland for Olivia’s room made out of paper. But then, while sourcing for colored paper at Wallmart, I saw these cute little buttons and decided to use them as my supplies instead. The garland is tiny and delicate, just like little Olivia. The colors work with most colors in her room. Teal, aqua, pink and some green. I hung the garland around a big mirror that is framed in gold. I plan to take pictures of her room tomorrow, so check back soon to see how it all turned out.
